Baby Shower

We threw Vanessa, Caleb's dad's girlfriend, a baby shower on Sunday. It started off as a baby shower but ended up an Engagement Party! Marseiro actually PROPOSED to her! He wrapped up a little pair of booties with the ring tied on with pink ribbon. How sweet! We are very excited for them both. After the party we all headed to our house for a bonfire and s'mores. I know your probably thinking that's it's weird that we all hang out. It's not! We all have a lot of fun together. Marseiro is like my brother and Vanessa is really cool and you can't not like her! I know they will be very happy together with their new little baby.

Yea's 100 Day Ceremony

March 20th 2007 Caleb's great aunt, Keo Chhuom, passed away. We all called her "Yea" which means grandmother in Cambodian. She was very special to us. She took care of Caleb when he was little while I was in Cosmetology School (I practiced my haircuts on her!). She LOVED her grandchildren. She was the most sweetest woman I've ever met. We miss her everyday. Today the Buddhist monks said a final blessing for her. All her family and friends were there to remember this remarkable lady.

I did think of one thing exciting. So You Think You Can Dance was on tonight. They are down to the Top 10. Hok (The asian guy I really liked) was voted off tonight. Anya (the Russian girl with the crooked nose) was voted off as well. My favorites are
1. Lacey- She's Benji's sister (he won last year). She's L.D.S. Which isn't why I like her. I think she's an amazing dancer. She's kind of fake (she totally fake cried when she was saved tonight) I can't stand that.
2. Lauren- I don't know why I like her. She's so cute! How could you not?
3. Sarah- I really just love her name. Oh and she's a b-girl. Which means breakdancer girl. And she's just cool.
4. Pasha- This Russian guy can dance! I LOVED the 80's suspender dance he did with Sarah. It was so cool.
5. Neal- He's cute. And he's straight! Amazing!
Okay, I don't like Danny....what a cocky dude. He's defintely the best male dancer but geesh. Too cocky. Cameron is totally HOT but he bombed it last week. Dom has really weird teeth. Sabra thinks she's a comedian.and that curly haired girl laughs too much and I'm not sure she's playing with a full deck. Okay that's it....Next to go are (hmmm *thinking*) Sarah and Pasha (or Dom). We will see.

Rainy Days

Unfortunately it's been raining all week so I don't have anything exciting to blog about. I hate the rain! It makes me want to sleep all day. The kids can't go outside and play, so they are in my face every minute! Plus I had two extra kids, Caleb's sister Deija, our friend Shelby. We started off painting which turned into a huge mess. Around 11am I'd had enough, we needed to go somewhere!! My friend, Marcie (Shelby's mom), and I took the kids bowling. That entertained them for a little while. So now it's bedtime, and they are so wired from being stuck inside all day Jordan and Deija are seriously running around the house with underwear on their head. I need some sunshine in a major way.....
