I just finished this book. I loved 'The Kite Runner', so I was pretty sure I'd like this one too. I actually liked it better. It focused more on the women of Afghanistan. It's fascinating. I love to read novels that educate or enlighten me at the same time. This did both!

I just finished it today too Sarah. I liked Kite Runner a little better I think but this was a very well written book as well. Makes you grateful to live in a free country, doesn't it?

Connie...you are so right! My prayers have been quite a bit longer lately because these books make me thankful for so much! I can't wait to see Kite Runner on the big screen. Let's all go together!
