Oh my goodness. I just finish reading this book. It's a sad and crazy story told by a boy soldier from Sierra Leone, Africa. What an incredible writer and story teller! This book is unbelievable.

I heard him speak about his life and the crazy things he's been through.... I was worried the book might be too graphic, or the language to severe.... but I wanted to learn more about his transformation. He was so articulate and genuine.... if you like dit I am deffinately going to check it out!
The book wasn't too graphic, just shocking. I actually borrowed the book from Nara. It is a required read for all Juniors at Cheverus. I just cannot fathom that this is happening to boys my son's age.
